One of the main aspects of the project was the creation of a Peppermint Museum in Eichenau, with a clear focus on straightforward materials and a rather non-technical approach, while the skeletal structural concept was equally a central design goal.
Additionally, movable wooden slats were installed on the front side of the building to allow for variable light control and offer versatile usage possibilities.
The existing facilities include a restroom, an exhibition space, and an operational area for the machines that are part of the display.
The windows on the south side are positioned at an angle corresponding to the roof slope, creating a harmonious façade design. They also offer a view of the peppermint fields in Eichenau.
